Since I have 3 family members that play WoW and I am the only one updating / maintaining the installed addons it meant that I just had to maintain them on 1 computer and the other 2 would get the update.

Curse client actually copied some of its add-ons from Curse and WowInterface. The only redeeming quality the Twitch app had was that I could backup addons from 1 pc and sync them to another PC. If you want to exclude specific addons from updating, you'll need to click the ellipsis on the far-right of the addon row and select 'Unreconcile'. You can use the search box at the top of the window to install new addons, although you'll need to know the name of the addon you're after to get accurate results. Requiring a couple of steps to install and configure, Instawow is probably the least intuitive of these addon managers to use. CurseForge is the only client that generates revenue for project authors.
